The iPod Nano is one of the latest models of MP3 player to hit the market, and it’s quickly becoming one of the most popular.  The Nano is a small, handheld device that can easily be tucked into your pocket, just like most other MP3 players.  It can hold thousands of songs, which gives you the advantage of not having to carry around mountains of CDs in your car if you want to listen to something other than the radio.  You can also plug a tiny pair of earphones (also known as ear buds) into the Nano, so you can listen to music wherever you are.  However, aside from the convenience of the Nano, there are several other important benefits to it that you may not know about, that make it well worth the purchase the next time you’re in the market for an MP3 player.

1.  It Has a View Screen

Unlike earlier models of MP3 players, the iPod Nano has a video screen.  This means you can see a menu of allof the songs on it, and scroll through to choose the precise one you want with ease.  The video screen also offers you several other options for searching for songs other than an alphabetical list, such as by album, artist, or genre.  When the song you’ve selected starts to play, you’ll see an image of the album cover for the album the song was originally on, as well as a timer that shows how long the song is and how much is left to play.

2.  You Can Listen to Audiobooks on It

You can download and listen to a wide selection of audiobooks on the Nano. It has a lot of memory, so installing 10 or more books on it isn’t unrealistic.  This is perfect for long car rides, or other times when you’ll have a lot of time to sit and listen to a book on your iPod.

3.  You Can Watch TV Shows on It

Because it has a video screen, you can download and watch TV shows on your iPod Nano.  The screen is small, but the picutre is still highly visible, and it makes for great entertainment whenever you’re out and about and have a little while to spare before your next appointment.  It makes waiting in doctor’s offices and riding on planes a lot more entertaining!
