The Blackberry Storm or the iPhone: Which One Wins?
The Apple iPhone is considered the king of the personal digital assistant (PDA) universe. It can do virtually anything, and has become an invaluable companion to thousands of people. However, The Blackberry Storm is a new PDA smartphone that’s recently been released by Verizon, and there are some people who think it will give the iPhoe a run for its money. If you’re considering buying either, but aren’t sure which one is for you, here’s the scoop on just how these two PDA powerhouses compare against each other.
• There’s not a big learning curve with the Blackberry. This is especially true if you’ve used other Blackberry models before. The Blackberry storm is essentially a more advanced version of older models, so you can just pick it up and go, rather than taking the time to learn all of its intricate functions, like on the iPhone.
• Both models have touch screen technology, which means a greater ease and swiftness of navigation.
• The Blackberry Storm is a lot cheaper than the iPhone–in fact, it’s several hundred dollars cheaper. If you’ve already got an older model of Blackberry, you can upgrade to the Storm at a significant discount.
• The Storm can play MPEG4s, WMVs, and a variety of audio files. It also has 1 G of storage space, so there’s plenty of room for anything you want on there.
•The Storm has a battery charge life of up to 3 hours longer than the iPhone.
• Both the Storm and the iPhone have built-in cameras and GPS.
As you can see, both the Blackberry Storm and the iPhone have many useful features and are similar to each other in a variety of ways. However, when it comes to price for performance, you can’t beat the Blackberry Storm. It does nearly everything the iPhone does, at a fraction of the price. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced PDA that does it all, the Blackberry Storm is for you.
